Endorsement
Select Electronic Endorsement from the Admin main menu item of the Customer Definition window. The Rear Image Endorsement Rules window displays.
The fields are defined as follows:

Description |
Template Name |
This dropdown contains a list of all
available Annotation Templates. The selected template is loaded into the view.
New - This button creates a new Annotation Template. Delete - This button deletes the currently selected Annotation Template. |
Template Position and Orientation |
The location and orientation of the
Annotation may be specified in terms of offsets from the bottom and right of
the image. In addition, the annotation may be rendered either vertically
or horizontally on the rear of the image.
Note : The preview displays the annotation horizontally even if the orientation is specified as 'vertical'. |
Image Endorsement Preview | The Image Endorsement is previewed using the currently specified settings. |
Active |
Checkbox that indicates if the rule is active or inactive for the selected Annotation Template. |
Data Field |
Data field type. Options are: · Static – Static text. The value in the place-holder will be inserted into the endorsement verbatim. · Capture Date – The date the item was captured. · BOFD RTN - Bank of First Deposit Routing Transit Number · BOFD Account – Account number of the Bank of First Deposit · Customer Name – Name of the Customer from the Customer Profile · ISN – Internal Sequence Number assigned to this item |
Placeholder |
Text that will be displayed in the Image Endorsement Preview window. This will be replaced with the actual item data for all Data Fields except Static fields. |
Line |
Line number where this data field will appear. Six lines are supported. |
Starting Column |
The column of the endorsement where this data field will begin. Twenty-five columns are supported |
Length |
Length, in characters, of the data field. If the data field is longer than the specified length it will be truncated. |
Justify |
Justify the data field left or right in the endorsement |
Padding |
Character to use if the data field is shorter than the specified length. |
