Amounts Read and CAR'd

When entering items on the Scan window, the system compares MICR data with the CAR'd amount on the item and if the amounts do not match, the MICR amount is the amount the system recognizes. 

The window below shows $7954.49 entered on the check and the MICR amount of $1951.00, so the $1951.00 is the amount that displays in the Amount fields on the Scan window.
